That's one of the biggest fallacies. Why should someone be forced to live a wretched life without meaning and filled with suffering just to please somebody's idea of existence.

Frankly , who decides what is a sin ? No human being can decide that . Unfortunately there are too many self appointed guardians of society who like to dictate terms to their fellowmen .

SG is happy that the graph is going down . He is neither inquisitive nor does he want to know the truth behind those figures . He is not interested in the standard of living or the misery that those people have to undergo by merely remaining alive. Most of the good Samaritans who console themselves by quoting these figures frankly don't have the courage to face upto the reality,facts and raw emotions.

@sankalp6872 Capitalism means all the money accrues to Ambani and Adani. No transparency in the working of the government. While the figures may show an upward trend it infact is a polarization in the standard of living of the people.

@serianakuppakkattu7292 I do agree with the euthanasia aspect. Having said that, is a life filled with poverty, deprivation , malnourishment, chronic ailment any different from a disease ? Many people are still alive because they are too scared to self-terminate . Majority of the unfortunate live on hope which remains unresolved.
