  1. You cannot just "Redesign" the "Colonial" system overnight. Right now Pakistan has financial issues, food insecurity and political instability. For any drastic changes to happen a country should have a stable government. Pakistan afaik never had one. So don't expect the current regime or the one after that to push for alternatives. It'll be politicized and polarised thus creating even more instability.
