Imran Khan's policy itself resulted in this situation.....He was chillin with all subsidies and wrong economic plans....Under his leadership Pakistan gdp went from 310 billion USD to 278 billion USD.....That's how worse he was Pakistan's population during that time went up and gdp went down....And still the people want him back in power.....smfh

This could've been avoided if Pakistan stopped funding terrorism and also stopped giving outrageous subsidies in fuel and electricity for votes.......planned fuel price hikes would've helped them avoid such situation. India learned that after the 1991 crisis but still INC succumbed under pressure to give subsidies and that was clealry affecting us in the long run.......In a way I'm glad the current Modi govt is not bowing to political pressure to cut fuel prices and subsidies and ensuring food security by blocking export as well....... Also this is all what Jinnah and his elite cronies wanted. They wanted the monopoly on their farms while Nehru (as much as I hate him) made real good land reforms......The result is evident. India is not importing basic necessities like rice, wheat etc for it's insanely huge population. While Pakistan even with the most fertile land still cannot produce enough for their own 200 million citizens..... Diff btw Nehruvian socialist policies and Jinnah's corrupted crony capitalism.....I salute our hard working farmers
