Comments by "Phoenix O\x27Brien" (@phoenixobrien163) on "The Time to Destroy the NFA and All Federal Gun Laws Has Come" video.
The NFA goes back to 1934 After the initial hearing on H.R. 9066, a modified version of the NFA was proposed in June of 1934, H.B. 9741. This is the bill that was ultimately passed and enacted as the National Firearms Act. Representative Robert Lee Doughton, a Democrat from North Carolina, introduced this bill.

Stop exaggerating and lying. Before you froth at the mouth, at least look into objective sources why abortion at nine months might be needed. jeez it isn't like people just want to kill babies for crissakes
2
This time it will be codified

Speaking of Bolsheviks, Styx, what do you make of De Santis proclaiming May 7th as "Victims of Communism Day" and as a time to teach children about the horrors of Communism? Are we back to the McCarthy era? Who's behind this? The John Birch Society? I already know which Catholic Fanatic nut jobs are pushing this and no doubt joined up with the Birchers, who, btw, we're in my area one Saturday a couple of summers ago, with their little table of literature. They told me they came to meet with Trump.

What Republican humbug is this now? Was MLK supposed to apply to the president for a gun carry license? Didn't know that. So let's get at some truth of the matter: As Martin Luther King started advocating for widespread civil disobedience, he also lost his belief in firearms for self-defense. Fifty years ago this week, one of the country's most famous advocates for pacifism became one of its most famous victims of gun violence. Martin Luther King Jr.Apr 4, 2018 It's also true that after MLK'S house had been firebombed, he applied for a gun permit to carry but was denied, citing his "unsuitability". But bear in mind that the optics of such a figure looking like a wild 'n' wooley western gun toter would have the optics of telling the black folk to arm up. He chose he path of the Dali Lama instead. Sometimes that's the way to go unless you're a psychpath. No'mean?

@MrShwaggins -- You people just never stop lying, do you?
2
Oh how more ridiculous can Styx get, lying that the NFA came about from the Klan over the freed slaves! Now this is why the Disinformation Board had to be formed. People who just spew lies, disinformation, etc.! The NFL goes all the way back to 1934: The first piece of national gun control legislation was passed on June 26, 1934. The National Firearms Act (NFA) — part of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's “New Deal for Crime“— was meant to curtail “gangland crimes of that era such as the St. Valentine's Day Massacre.” Gangland violence hmmm. Someone's paying attention.
2
You are crazy. This is why religious fanatics are designated as domestic terrorists
2
Poor things. Now they have a problem with the federal level. Poor, poor things.
2
And car insurance. I bet nobody has ever kept a complete, running tally of how much car insurance has cost them down through the years. All that money just flushed down the toilet, and brokers and insurance companies throwing out smoke and mirrors. It's some scam they got going. Then upping the insurance if a driver needs to put in a claim.
2
"a mild suggestion" he calls it. And look at the rabid responses from gun crazed people, which he knows would happen.
2
Styx would you address this DeSantis thing where he signed into law and designated May 7th henceforth to be a "Victims of Communists Day" , a day when children can be taught about the horrors of Communism? Are we circling back to the McCarthy Era? I suspect someone has De Dantis's ear, maybe the John Birch Society.

2
Not really. It isn't like the Religious Extremists, the Westboro types and the rabid US Catholics had nothing to do with it.
2
What the hell is Styx saying now? That gun control is a form of teparations? He's smoking too much weed.
2
There are too many of you that are mentally ill, I guess.
2
There definitely are a lot of crazy people in this country. And they wonder why they are designated as domestic terrorists.
2
Over the top melodramatic and violent imagery meant to inflame.
2
Different states having different regulations applies exactly also to a "clear impeding" on abortion rights and pursuit of life, liberty, and happiness. With all its blather and presumed moral ground, it's clear the Right is to the point of talking sheer utter bollocks now. IT CIRCLED Back!
2
You mean this video is just about some thought rattling around Styx's head and I just wasted my time listening to it? He should have put a Warning at the beginning of it.
2
You mean like the Oathkeepers and other milita types now up before the Jan. 6th Committee?
1
If you think so...
1
@MrShwaggins -- Typical trite reply from an infantile, mindless Tea Party mentality.
1
@MrShwaggins -- Your receipts from cases of alcohol? No thanks, drunkie drunk.
1
Wouldn't it be a riot if you found out your notion of God did no such thing, that "God given rights" is a fantasy you made up in your heads?
1
LOL Oh I get it. The Right is furious over the abortion rights protesters in front the the homes of the SC judges, but now it's OK if gun nuts protest in front of SC judges. Okey dokey
1
I already told you before that she was basically cornered by the Westboro types and put into extreme brainwashing. When she was "cured" they forced her to make TV appearances and to give talks in front of anti-abortion meetings. So stop your evil Christian lying through your teeth.
1
And no doubt you are lying about the Ginsburg comment too.
1
As I understand it, what you say is true. But certain states got around that by forming their own state militas, the kind that Timothy McVeigh joined up with, the kind that the American public had no idea existed at the time and didn't know what to make of it. The problem with these militas is that they are breeding grounds for conspiracy theories and unstable people. These militas morphed into new types of groups of people with guns like the Oath keepers, and several other radical groups now answering to the January 6th Committee. These militas are more often than not CHRISTAIN militas. Not passing judgement. Just saying.
1
@Moose McGillacuddy - You're lying. What happened was one of them, Roe or Wade, got collared by the brainwashed and put through a course of brainwashing. Then made to make the rounds of the media and anti-abortion groups.

Abortion is NOT "murder". You are just a fanatical Religious Extremist and such fanaticism leads to mental illness and domestic terrorism. Fanatics cannot be reasoned with. The ACLU is right about such people, meaning you, your type.
1
Your Religious Extremist conspiracy theories are playing very thin. The head of Planned Parenthood is black, and there are a lot of black pro abortion activists out thete.
1
The state militas are the National Guards, not a ragtag collection of armed, violent, and mainly ignorant yahoos
1
Their newest god
1
Styx is just being disingenuous. How could there have been abortion mentioned in the writing of the Constitution back then? Don't be absurd.
1
You're not just whistling dixie. But how do the cartels have influence in the government?
1
@davidrockey7870 -- You're probably right. Everything you mention is now so totally out of control (open borders, the drug trade), that I frankly no longer see any solutions. It's over. Whatever this country will look like in 50 years is anyone's guess. Oh well, I guess the cartels use their influence with the government merely by the spectre of threats. They are now more than well armed, and the government is impotent to simply shoot to kill and let the chips fall where they may.
1
James, Ch. 4 also describes gun fanatics very well. And Christians.
1
Right-wing logic: Lies, exaggerations, circular, nonsensical, frothing at the mouth, imaginary conspiracy theories, overtly violent. And then they wonder why they are designated as domestic terrorists.
1
Do you want yahoos to be allowed to go around with military weapons?
1
They weren't crystal ball readers. They did their best. More's the pity.
1
Tree huggers understand the bigger picture. This one is no tree hugger.
1
-- What is that suppose to mean?
1
-- Oh. Personally.i don't care for the backdrop. It's these little thumbnail pictures on my cell phone I guess. Sometimes it takes me awhile to figure out what the hell I'm looking at.
1
Sure. Let's arm the Christian tali ban to the teeth... ♬ Christian tali ban tali ban, tally me bananas! ♬

Stop frothing at the mouth with mindless exaggerations.
1
You can end the war on guns and drugs? But what about the war on women?
1
California is still calling it an assault weapon. Must be for a reason.
1
Imagine that. The Supreme Court declares you have no "God-given rights to anything" after all! No autonomy! Did I interpret this right? Wait til the Christians find this out! Here comes the Freemasonic conspiracy theories! 😂😂😂😂
1
When it gets codified
1
Oh how clever
1
I despise the IRS who have their own methods of killing a person, but I was stunned by the actions of the ATF. They could have just waited until the compound had no food left. I guess the Right was just scratching their asses at the time since there was little to no outcry over it. Well, anyway, it goes to show what can happen when one joins up with religious cults.
1
@colonelangus8247 -- I doubt that very much.
1
Oh NOW you're worried about people control, but not when doing away with women's rights?
1
I tend to doubt such simplistic reasoning. If "Bolsheviks" are trying to disarm the people, wouldn't they also in effect be disarming themselves?
