  1. This is a new one on me. It appears to come from the Islamic tradition. Wiki sources speak about the "Book of the Dead" in connection to this Israfel. Surely they can't mean the Egyptian Book of the Dead? So what Book of the Dead is associated with Israfel? And what's with the weird name Israfel ? I thought it was a typo.
