  19.  @prometheanevent  -- Yes, that I know. I've seen this soulless and barebones "architecture" in a housing building for millennials, or the younger crowd. It was in an oldish section of Brooklyn, which meant old buildings were being demolished to make way. The millennials don't know any better, and probably don't care. Only the rich get the fancy and beautiful homes and surroundings and beautiful appointments as it's called, and many other things of interest. Money seems to be the key.

He's quite interesting. His latest trip by rail (believe it or not Eastern Europe has some beautiful rail system for overnight travellers. No food service though.) You should check out his latest trip to the out-of-the-way places in Romania. You've got me rambling at the mention of Art Nouveau, which I find so scrumptious. Did you ever see Susperia , the 1977 Italian supernatural horror film directed by Dario Argento. Argento has the most exquisite taste in Art Nouveau type interiors and exteriors, combined with a sublime sense of dramatic lighting. Susperia is one of my favorite movies.
