  2. Business/Corporations are making everything way too complex for the average person to see how they are being shaken down. This began when supermarkets recouped their reduced prices for on sale items by introducing store cards to get the sale items, but if you didn't have a store card you paid the full price, thereby subsidizing the on sale price for those with the store card. Whereas, back in the day, items were all simply tabbed with a price. Coupons could be used to reduce the cost, and customers looked for sale items. All very straightforward. These days everything is a straight up con job. The stores are simply shaking down the customers and picking their pickets. Now they are also charging unconscionable prices altogether for everything.
