  3. My father was a complete backwards idiot. He told me I had two choices in life : Get married or become an executive secretary (he was trying to instill to aim for the highest). Neither alternative appealed to me. Later on I went for an associates degree and realized I could have had any number of satisfying careers. I told my professor boss that "I could have killed that man". As a child, I believed that idiot, you see.

  9. Oh wow. Ry Cooder! When I first came upon his song Jesus on the Mainline. I couldn't stop playing it. It's still there on YouTube. Ry Cooder lost an eye as a child in an accident. I forget how. He has a glass eye. I too despised my mother, a neurotic two six-pack a night narcissistic drunk almost to her dying days. She also had the most backwards notions and favored her dick sons. My father was better, sort of, but weak. He would periodically drag me out of bed, beat me with his strap at the behest of his drunken wife, after she finished running down how I refused to do housework for her while her princely dick sons did NOTHING by way of chores.. She ruined the lives of 6 people and made my father's life a living hell for decades. Also, my mother was,Polish, father a German mix of some kind.

Simon is showing his intellectual dishonesty. White girls then took notice that the minorities managed quite well being single parents, and the whites decided why not? I've seen it all play out. This has nothing to do with Feminism. Feminism doesn't teach females to just be single parents.

My mother knew I saw right through her and she probably knew I thought she should be institutionalized as a drunk and neurotic. I am the oldest of five, so I had the bird's eye-view of the family dynamics, so to speak. I found my favorite Ry Cooder version of Jesus on the Mainline for you. Hope the link goes through.

As to the mandolin, it looks like one, but I wouldn't know for sure. Leave a comment asking about that in the video. That's how I found out he had a glass eye (I think the right eye). I noticed one eye seemed to be "off" and asked about it. Another told me about his losing an eye as a child.
