The race grifter in the US, Al Sharpton, is using Tyre Nichols' death to do away with qualified immunity, the definition of which is: The doctrine of qualified immunity protects state and local officials, including law enforcement officers, from individual liability unless the official violated a clearly established constitutional right. But since the 5 officers DID violate a clearly established constitutional right, I don't see how they would be protected by qualified immunity anyway. Seems to me Sharpton wants to open up the ability to sue ALL state and local officials, including law enforcement officers period, at the whim of what any black perceives a wrong was done to him or her while being black.
