It would at least keep Russia busy fighting against itself 😂

The smoke and mirrors obfuscation arguments of the Left which ALWAYS have led to disaster when believed.

From The Economist, Why is Turkey blocking Sweden from joining NATO? - The Economist, 2023/07/10. Link won't go through. Just do an easy search. Russia's invasion of Ukraine has reinvigorated NATO: in May 2022 Finland and Sweden applied to join it. Finland was admitted in April, but Sweden's accession has been blocked by Turkey, one of NATO's 31 members, ostensibly because the Nordic country harbours Kurdish separatists. Already we see a two-faced Erdoģan Sweden, of course, is now in NATO regardless of Erdoģan virtue signaling.

I knew Turkey had something up its sleeve by backing Sweden's bid to join NATO because Turkey itself wanted to join NATO. .Only I just did a search and I find out that Turkey IS a member of NATO! And backing Sweden is definitely Erdoģan's bid to join the EU. No wonder Erdoģan was opening its mouth and throwing his weight around. In the aftermath of the Second World War, Turkey made the historic choice of siding with the free world and the Western Bloc. This policy was ledTurkey to become member of NATO on 18 February 1952. Since then, NATO has been the cornerstone of Turkey's defense and security policy. I think that at one time, back then in the 1950s, Turket, like Iran (or Iraq) were very secular and Westernized. But times changed. And it certainly would be disastrous for Turkey to join the EU.

Erdogan's sudden about face? From The Economist, Why is Turkey blocking Sweden from joining NATO? - The Economist, 2023/07/10. Link won't go through. Just do an easy search. As far as I understand it, Sweden was allowed in at that NATO Summit without Erdogan's presumed authority.

Three hundred and thirty-four years ago, on Sept. 12, 1683, troops led by renowned Polish King Jan III Sobieski defeated the Ottoman Empire army commanded by Grand Vizier Kara Mustafa in the Battle of Vienna, thus defending Europe and Christianity against an Islamic deluge.

Leftist smoke and mirrors, which has ALWAYS proved disastrous when listened to.

A "small part of it" and "a section of the capital" doesn't cut it. Just a deflection.

Hungary is already setting up a referendum to leave the EU.
