  5. I watched a program the other day entitled something like Brothels of the Wild West Gold Rush. Prostitutes know how to make money. Running a restaurant with black female waitress prostitutes is a no-brainer. It gave a lot of insight into the world of brothels. I bring this up because apparently Mary Seacole ran a brothel.

  6. Nursing involves more than just prescribing folk remedies. It involves doing the dirty work, like dealing with ghastly wounds, keeping patients clean, following doctor orders. Somehow I don't see Seacole doing any of that.
