  2. It's not a fair comparison. In the circle example, all the lines drawn to approximate the circle were tangent to the circle. However, the triangles used to approximate the cylinder do not sit on a tangential plane.

  3. At 4:50, I'm not sure this is that impressive. I could do the same with a D6.

  4.  @Mathologer  It just seems the arithmetic you're using here is quite arbitrary. You even had to double the 2 to make it work, but for no apparent reason. It reminded me of that math puzzle about the 3 guys ordering a pizza and giving a tip.
