I bought a bed once with a 10 year warranty. I broke after 6 years due primarily to a design flaw (so I imagine it wasn't the only one). When I contacted the company, they sent me a form email, explaining that the original company I bought the bed from was not longer trading, and even though the original owner had started a new company under the same name he was not responsible for making good on the repairs to the bed.

@Bigrignohio That's not as bad as it sounds. I lost 4 molars when I had braces. The orthodontist removed them to make room.
