  3. @theoverunderthinker  That's not the way the world works. Employers pay staff to work as needed. If those staff need additional income, they should take it when it's offered, not expect it to be there when they need it.

  4. @theoverunderthinker No doubt the company had other employees they can ask. While she is unlikely to have other employers. Food for thought. And when the company needs to promote someone? Who do you think will get it? Her, or someone who doesn't cut their own nose of as she does her? And if they downsize, she'll be one of the first. That's the way the world works.
