  1. Most of the start in out galaxy are nothing like our sun. It's position for one thing. It's in a very quiet part of the galaxy, between spiral arms. That means there aren't many other stars near us. It's also a singular star system, while most others are duo or trio system. So it's not quite correct to assume that all star have the same probability of having earth like planets.
