  4. she forget one thing. sure you can drive as fast as you want in germany. but if you drive 30KM harder then the max speed limit no insurance will cover your damage if you get in an accident. no matter if it is your fault or not. max KM per hour in germany is 120KM per hour (some parts even 100 or even 80KM) on the autobahn. everything faster then that will get you in trouble. just read an article of a german who drove 200+KM per hour got in an accident was not his fault technically but he had to pay 40% of the costs because he drove 30KM or more harder then the max speed limit of 120KM. so yes germany does technically not have a speed limit but its still not that handy to drive as fast as you want. this is almost 290KM per hour. In the netherlands you would be stripped of your license and get a ticket of around 500/1000 euros for sure. plus you have to go to a special school to take some sort of test because of reckless driving. which will also cost 1000 euros. all in all its about 1500 till 2000 euros here as well. and your license would be taken away for at least 6 months. If you still decide to drive without a license. and that counts for a motorbike or a moped. then you are in violation of the law and could be put in jail for it.
