  1. Did they specifically choose her to become a repair ship because she was once a cold shift? In other words, was her structure more enforced than a regular cargo ship, or was there another reason why?

  2.  @WALTERBROADDUS  so it was because of her structural design then. That makes sense considering that I guess they would have to build in machine shops, to be able to manufacture patches for the damaged vessels. Thank you
