I'm curious to find out if he's the same general breckenridge, who is in charge of the confederate forces at the battle of stones river in murfreesboro tennessee. That is a Civil War battle that is worth remembering. Considering more people died per minute danette, gettysburg.

Sometime in the future for a Halloween store you might do the history of Thieves oil. It was a combination of natural oils that during the Black Death that thieves claimed work while they were digging up the dead and robbing the rich. Quite a fascinating story. Keep up the great work

Thank you so much for bringing this to light. The majority of people unfortunately see all of Germany as just following brain with saline erratically the Nazi party back in that time. I have many family members, considering my father's side of the family is from Germany, who were part of the the Pirates. Because of historians like you, I feel that they are being honored in a way that most the world would shun them away just because they were German.

My question to you, sir is how many people realize that the B-29 was not the last bomber to fly over Japan that there was a another. Bomber that was in the same field of Technology as it. Thanks for the great channel is always fun and entertaining to learn history. .

I know this may sound odd, but this is almost like based on the character from the anime. Series berserk called guts. I have to wonder if they are most what in the same??😢😢😢

You want to talk about an outdated law but it still holds true in my mom and dad's town and Breckenridge texas. It is illegal to park your horse at the courthouse on Sunday. And you can't spit Tobacco on the sidewalk.

Thank you as always for what you do bring history to life. One small piece of history that people have not heard of because it's been so overshadowed in World War II, is the fact that the Chinese Republic navy actually held off Japanese for quite some time with just light Cruisers. I believe the tenacity of the Republic Chinese Navy should be remembered😊

Do you think that anybody will possibly ever create the movie Battle of Jutland? Can you imagine what it would be like with modern computer graphics now?

Man, that has to be the most awesome history I have heard in a long time. Thank you so much.

This would be an excellent time to be mentioning the conspiracy with the whore qualities of the first bradley fighting vehicle, And the story of the whistle blowing that took place with it.

LOL. Half brothers and sisters to this, and cousins to this cousin. Who wasn't at their own relative?

I wonder how many people remember the trucking Wars of the 1970s and 80s? That really shook up the transportation lines of today. Thank you for your amazing show. It is one of the few history shows that I can get my boys to watch.

I'm interested in the piece of history that was brought up by a of all things a metal rock group. It was a battle in World War II, where Americans and regular German military, fought side-by-side against the Nazis. Do you think you can find out more about that? Thank you. Love the channel

@TheHistoryGuyChannel yes! I believe it was. Thank you, you see I have a personal part in that story. My grandfather talked about it. You see, I had family on both the American and the German side of World War II. Two brothers who separated after World War 1, one coming to America and my great-uncle staying there in Germany. Thank you again

I'm wondering if that mattress didn't have some kind of explosive device in it waiting to go off at a certain time?

There are no words that I can put into the emotions I felt while listening to this. Just let it be known that even the Vietnam War my father, who served in the United States Air Force was saved by one. Every time I think about it I start choking up so forgive me for not going further in detail. All I can say is thank you for sharing this oh, it brings back good, sad, and yet hopeful memories.

Here's a little bit of history that is not well known. I just found out today by accident picking up a load sing I'm I'm a trucker, that exactly 103 years ago today they had the largest loss of life in their Fire Department in Chicago when 25 men were killed by collapsed wall, in the old cattle yards of Chicago.

Has anybody ever thought about the Forgotten history of the trucking industry? And how many people remember the trucking Wars of the 1970s and early 80s?
1
Please let me know if I'm incorrect or not. Didn't the Nazis put a price tag on each night which that was shot down? Thank you for letting me know and keep up the good work.

An interesting piece of History would be the last non atomic bomb Mission over Japan. A lot of people don't realize that the B-52 was not the last bomber design of World War II there was a runner-up to the B-52 that was also used as a medium level bomber.
