  12.  @justinp977  most of the world is owned by someone. Except for the Bir Tawil. Which apparently no one wants. It's a tract of land between Sudan and Egypt and neither has claimed it. Which is remarkable considering what a garden spot the place is. Lots of sunshine. Sun, rocks and sand is all that's there. Sudan should own it but they just don't want it. So you could go there and be as curious as you want. It does appear that some people do live there. How they manage to do that is a mystery. It's tax free living. I'm surprised all rich folks don't live there. It's the only stateless land outside of Antarctica.

  16. The Internet contains vast information. Not all of it is right. So I suppose one does have to be somewhat discerning about what they choose to believe. Still, it's all thought provoking at least.

  17. 100 IQ is average intelligence. It isn't brilliant but it isn't deficient either. Someone with average intelligence often achieves more than those that are smarter than they are because the average can be more focused. They just need one good idea and stick to it.

  20. Why do you think people are always in the position to make a difference? It may be that we are all fated to have what happens to us happen. We experience time linearly but that doesn't mean that's the true nature of time. The past, present and future may all exist simultaneously. Reality may be like vinyl record. Just because we haven't gotten to a particular passage yet may not mean it isn't coming anyways. It's just further down the groove.
