terror attacks are "part and parcel of living in a big city" --Sadiq Khan Mayor of London

@handballduenas in 1875 due to a case they were hearing the Supreme Court decided the states have their own authority that is seperate from the federal government. That's why every state has their own gun laws. Because they can. The court further found that the 2nd amendment only applies to the federal government and not the states. If you'd like to read about the case it is called United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542 (1875) Before then everything was just how you'd like it. There wasn't a gun law in the whole country. That case is what changed that. It was a pivotal case in US history that everyone should be aware of. Read about why the case came to be too. Why Cruikshank was on trial. That would be the Colfax Massacre incident of 1873. All of that should give you a better understanding of what got us to today. Knowing what you're up against will help you to defeat it.

The right to bear arms is not granted by the Constitution; neither is it in any manner dependent upon that instrument for its existence. The Second Amendments means no more than that it shall not be infringed by Congress, and has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the National Government. United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542 (1875)

You're not that old. They were just better at fooling you in the past. The CIA got involved manipulating the media in 1952. Go find out who Bob Woodward is. He's the reporter that broke Watergate. Find out what he did before he became a reporter. Naval intelligence is the CIA. Same difference. Yeah that was a setup. Nixon ended the CIA's little south east asian party they had going on. So they burned him.

The second amendment has nothing to do with states. When are you going to figure that out?
1
Considering how they work it's not surprising.

Maybe they'll walk in but they're going to have to be carried out. Oh my aching back.

How is guns being easy to get a problem? I guess that gun was haunting that guy. That's why it's a ghost gun.

You're forgetting the manifesto they caught him with too. I mean why didn't he just walk into a police station and confess while he was at it? I guess he could have carried the dead body with him too. Weekend at Brian's.

@obeastness I have an extremely hard time reconciling the fact that he'd be walking around with such key evidence on his person. Was he also wearing a tee shirt emblazoned with the words I did it on it? That could be more easily explained away.

@donaldbrennan258 I told you what to read. Now either you didn't read it or you simply didn't understand it. Now which is it? In the summary they explain their reasoning. Pay special attention to the part where they speak about states having their own authority. It's in the name, The United STATES of America. We are a republic made up of many STATES. Every state in the Union is like their own little country. So they all get to govern themselves. That means they can have their own laws. Although not every state is a state. Some are commonwealths. The difference there is purely semantic though.

You can't print a working gun with a cheap printer. The printer used to print the first printed gun was so expensive Cody rented the printer. It cost 35,000. He used a Stratsys Dimension SST

2A is here to stay. You're NOT going to change my mind! If cops can have weapons, terrorists can have weapons and criminals can have weapons then I say law abiding citizens should be able to keep and bear arms too. What's fair is fair!
1
They'd better not. That's a violation of our 4th amendment rights. We have a right to privacy. So if what you say is true we have a pretty serious civil rights case here.

New York isn't the United States. It is just one state in the union. They can do as they please too. Because they have states rights.

a “Ghost Gun” is any firearm manufactured without a license. At least according to the powers that be. Get a Stratsys Dimension SST printer. That's what Cody used to print the first 3D printed gun. You'd better be sitting down when you find out what it costs though. I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself if you faint. It costs about what the low end of pre ban fully auto weapons do.

@Nevets1970 there are some amazing printers that can sinter metals. I don't know what they cost though. Probably not cheap is my guess.
