I don't consider Wes a mechanic. Wes is a technician. Wes knows what he's doing. What Wes does has a purpose. There's a method to his madness.

@motor2of7 I've seen Wes fix stuff after 4 shops took a crack at it. Changing this, that and the other thing. Mechanics work at those shops. There's nothing wrong with that. But Wes is just on another level over most mechanics. Wes also tends do do things the right way too. Which not every mechanic does. If you know then you know.

Yeah Wes is a very talented tech. That's a rare thing. I appreciate competence.

I've watched videos made by other YouTubers about how the platform ages out creators. The algorithm is your friend early on and then it throws you over. There's a curve up and then a steady decline. It's not just Wes. It's just how the platform works. There's some controversial creators that YouTube actively works against. At least Wes isn't in that group. His content is safe. He's not a guntuber or an overt conservative.

Todd is doing God's work. We're going to test that! I just wish Todd did more tear downs to see what is really inside some of that junk he tests. The stuff you don't get to see until after you're already stuck with it, you know? A lot of times it seems like he gets 4 different of the same thing.

If everyone was like Wes the world would be a better place. But they're not, so it isn't. Most folks are grifters and hustlers. Just out to make a quick buck.

You're lucky if you can sleep. I used to be able to sleep for 12 hours. Now I can't even stay in bed for 6. I get 6 hours and I'm good. It seems like too little to me but it is what it is.

Wes just got done explaining why he can't do that. It's not just up to him unfortunately. The world is a cruel cold place. The all powerful algorithm is beating him up for creating good content. So if he's got to drag things out in order to survive I'm here for it. Maybe he can put a bug on the screen for parts that can safely be skipped?

They make drugs for it. Like speed. That's what all that ADHD medicine really is. Time release speed. Methamphetamine. A buddy of mine was on it for a while. He got real focused.

You can change the speed. Watch chipmunk Wes. At 1.5X you can watch 45 minute videos then. 2X I have a hard time following. A lot of people don't watch videos at normal speed at all though. So it's not weird to do. I guess that's why they have the option?

@Zyxlian sometimes when I'm watching a video it'll just jump into hyperdrive on its own. I'm not sure what causes that. I think my keyboard may be failing?

Good luck with the coming year Wes. Keep working and I'll keep watching. Sponsors don't bother me none. Just make sure you get paid. Talk to other creators about what you should make.

Having a CNC machine isn't even half the battle. Knowing how to use a CNC machine is more important. CNC machines don't program themselves. I found that out when I got a CNC machine. It turns out I don't really like parametric modeling. That may be down to the software I've used? But it is incredibly annoying. Imagine having to deal with an idiot that has to have every last detail defined. That's parametric modeling for ya. One point isn't defined in space and it throws all these errors. Fixing it isn't always so straightforward either. True 3D is hard.

I have a hard time watching movies anymore. I used to be able to. Now I don't know. I just get annoyed or I'm losing patience or something. But I find myself turning movies off halfway through a lot these days. Like that's enough of that.

That's the truth. You can't please everyone so it's a fool's errand to even try. In the end you've got to do what you've got to do. I've watched creators that were total shills. Like Chucky2000. That kid hustled. He made millions. Then he burned it all down.
