  1. The Snap-On seems to be heat treated differently too. It did not shatter. The Irwin did.

  2.  @TheTreesmac  I've hammered on plenty of tools and not cracked them. The difference between the Irwin tool and the Snap-On tool was on a microscopic level. Something that cannot be seen on video. It is no rare fluke that the Snap-On tool was heat treated better than the Irwin tool was. It was what Snap-On specced for the item. When you charge 10 times as much you'd better be better than your competition is. Even when your tools outwardly look the same. It isn't magic; it is careful attention to process details. Which is something that Snap-On is very good at.
