It depends what that blade is made out of. These blades have Tungsten Carbide (TC) teeth. TC is a very heat resistant material. Most twist drills are just made out of High Speed Steel (HSS). Which compared to TC really isn't very high speed at all. This saw has a blade 14" in diameter and turns 1,500 RPM. That means the peripheral surface speed is 5,497.7871 Surface Feet Per Minute (SFPM). Optimal HSS surface speed is 100 SFPM. So about 55 times slower. As you may imagine the oil slinging off the larger diameter tool would make quite a mess. There would be no benefit to doing it either. So we don't.

Jen Nutsacky would tell you that's the Putin price hike because there's no way it's due to the present administration's policies and actions. Nah. Printing trillions of dollars and crushing the energy sector wouldn't cause it.

I cut railroad track in my 4x6 bandsaw once. I had to flip it 3 times. But it made it through. Like 3 beers later. Was some big 136 pounds a foot track. We found a section cast off the track and cut it in half to split it between us. I still have my piece. I doubt my friend does though.
