Yeah I have the variable speed corded Harbor Freight Multi tool. The blade change sucks but the tool itself does the multitool thing. I'd only recommend someone get something better if they were a professional flooring or kitchen installer and was using it constantly.

He's testing them where you'd hold them. If the company didn't put overmold there then too bad.

Multitools are not something I use every day. So I have a cheap corded one. But when you need one they are handy.

That tool vibration I hear can lead to nerve damage. I call it twango hand. When your hand goes kind of numb and tingles and when you can slap it and it sort of twangs. Probably not good for you.

@ccbowers twango hand can impede my work. Once I get it I'm not so apt to press on until it subsides. Plus I can't help but to hit my hand a few times to enjoy the sensation. It's kind of like guzzling soda and eating pop rocks. But for the hand.

@starry-ptg He may have been testing in the wrong place. I'm not sure if it's your fingertips or your palms that are what get zinged by a tool like that. I know it's happened to me a lot though. High frequency vibrations make me numb. It's supposed to be damaging too? Or so I've heard. Might be a place where padded gloves can help.
