  1. Yeah the Chicxulub object is estimated to be over a thousand times larger in diameter. Things don't scale linearly in mass or volume either.

  2. The object credited with ending the dinosaurs was 6 miles in diameter. You don't want to get struck by anything 30 feet wide but let's put things in some perspective.
