  2.  @keithyinger3326  there are some massive levels that are extremely difficult to figure out how to advance in. I was playing the first Community Chest megawad the other day and it has some maps that I just could not figure out how to finish. I'm usually pretty good at figuring Doom puzzles out too. Fortunately I was playing a mod that has an item called an "E bomb". Detonating one of those just ends a level and advances you. Which is pretty handy.

  3. I had the shareware floppy but then I bought Ultimate Doom on CD-ROM. That whole CD only has 10 MB of data on it. That's MS-DOS Doom plus 4 episodes.

  12. The source port of Doom that I play has mouse look and I can enable jump. Infinite height is optional too. Some of the mechanics of original Doom are pretty strange. I like the limit removing modern source ports better. This is a Doom 2 level https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NQz9tFFiMP4

  14. There's a program called Doomseeker where you can play Doom online today. And odamex. I think I was involved in a world record with that? We had like 250 people on a server at once.

  16. Doom is just about the only video game I play. With a limit removing source port engine and mods. I am starting to run out of new megawads to play now though. Right now my Doom directory has 10 GB in it.
