  11.  @SeptemberMeadows  sure that's why they got paid. Money is a prime mover in our world. Makes you wonder how we got along for so long without it. Because we did. The concepts of money and ownership only became a thing with the advent of civilization. I suppose our ancestors fought over resources before anyone settled down. Not like folks fight today though. Anything for the Almighty Buck! What's even funnier is how hard we'll fight to make others rich. Dick Cheney made more out of Iraq than you did. I don't think he's ever even been there either.

  12.  @SeptemberMeadows  if our species cannot make our way on the planet we've evolved to live on we've no chance of making it anywhere else. The challenges of living off world are a bit more than most are aware of. We're not quite up to them yet either. I doubt I will live to see the day. I doubt anyone alive right now will either. But we'll see.

  13.  @CChissel  more of any problem is worse than less of a problem is. As you point out people are the problem and we have more people today causing problems than at any time in the past. So that means we are worse off today as a species. Perhaps not individually but collectively. There's actually things we're doing today too that does make people even worse than they generally were in the past. Mass media indoctrination causes people to have unrealistic expectations. They get ideas so to speak. Not the best ideas either. Thanks technology!
