  8.  @Warriorcat49  The firebombing of Tokyo holds the record as the largest loss of life due to a military operation. We carefully engineered the incendiary drop (Bombs away Curtis LeMay was in charge) to maximize damage. We dropped the bombs in a V shape (for victory - J/K) so it would trap people, create a firestorm, and sweep across the whole city. Rather brilliant in my opinion. Operation Meetinghouse burned out over 14 square miles of the most populated land on the planet killing an estimated quarter of a million people.
