  1. The Eastern Front would have been much different if 2.5 million Germans were not pinned down defending the Western Front. Regardless of when the western Allies launched their ground offensive those troops still could not be deployed elsewhere. You are also completely disregarding the African, and Italian campaigns that drained Germany of resources, and manpower.
