  6. freedem what you say reminds me of when I was commercial flat roofing. Pitch burn is nasty! Everything we worked with was. I worked with guys that you would not want to run into in a dark alley at night, and they'd break down and cry spreading sheeting bond. That stuff was so damned bad. What were they going to do, kick the bucket for being such bad stuff? They'd have paid heavily for trying to do that too. One learned respect for that material. We called what happened, "The grip of death." Because as you were getting some out of the barrel a little thread would maybe get on your hand, if you weren't careful. Then another, and another. Pretty soon it was like you dipped your hand into that bucket of nastiness. Then you couldn't put your trowel down, because it was glued to your hand. You had the Grip of Death on it then. heh
