  1. Of course it was going to fly. The B-29 is the most lethal weapons platform ever made. The top 3 deadliest military operations of all time were all delivered by B-29s. The B-29 is also directly responsible for the Space Age too. Because when the Soviets examined some B-29s that they came into possession of they concluded there is no way they could ever match the West in bomber technology. So they switched to missiles. The rest is as they say, history.
