@pointerish I was taught how to read when I was a baby. So before I was a teenager I was reading on a post graduate level. I had a bit of a head start on most folks. It certainly helped that I grew up in one of the most affluent communities on Earth too. That afforded me unlimited access to literature. The woman that built my town library had more money than China. She was a Rockefeller.

@brianticas2068 I don't know if schools will help them much. They seem to be suffering from nutritional deficiencies to me. When that's chronic during developmental years it stunts growth. Feeding them now ain't going to help them any either. The damage is done. I suppose it'll make them feel better now. But they're not going to get a growth spurt or gain intellect any. That ship sailed.

@gonzaloarvietti4920 if the attendance of Joe's campaign stump speeches is anything to go by that is a difficult question to answer. The man did address completely empty venues after all.
