  4. What military? That one tank we saw was probably the whole armored force in the Ukraine. They didn't look like they were going anywhere either. If they were smart they'd park inside a house. Make them a little harder to spot from the air. Tanks can do that you know? Just drive into the side of a house. It doesn't hurt them.

  28.  @bernddoderer9045  if they had and figured out how to crack the launch codes then we wouldn't be having this conversation right now. But realistically they couldn't afford the upkeep of a nuclear arsenal for decades. You have to polish those missiles occasionally. You can't just let them sit around collecting dust and expect them to work forever. The real problem is the warheads degrades the electronics in them. The radiation causes them to bit rot. Nukes are perishable devices. I'm sure the Ukrainians knew that too. I guess they hoped paper kept better?
