  1. You do realize the US military has gone into Mexico in the past, don't you? No one declared war against us either. It would be political and possibly real suicide for them. You don't think Mexico actually stands a chance against the USA, do you? So why would they pick a fight they cannot possibly win?

  2. A hundred people a day. By the end of the year that is about the population of the city I grew up in. That's just one spot year after year. Small trickles can add up to torrents over time. A porous border will sink our whole country eventually.
