Most criminals have a mindset where they just don't see themselves being adversely affected by their actions. They all think they're going to get away with whatever it is that they're doing. It's a mental illness or deficiency.

I couldn't name a single thing any government has ever done that has been a net positive. They're basically parasites that live off of society. That's all of them.
