@Carsonlee69420 in this world we all have to get our grift on in order to get by. That's just the sad truth of the reality we find ourselves in today. Things are too abstract and complicated anymore for anyone to be particularly real. I don't know precisely when it all went off the rails. But as best as I can tell it's been this way for a while now.

@paullowman9131 it has been a long slide. Which is why it is difficult to pinpoint an exact moment. I'm pretty sure the world was fairly nutty long before Kennedy though.

SNL hasn't had this level of comedy in over 40 years. Maybe at the high water mark with the original cast of not ready for prime time players it wasn't even this good?
