  1.  @CDCI3  that's what it seems like. When I'm machining iron it makes this black dust that's like coal. It doesn't make nice chips like steel does. It seems to revert to it's dirt state.

I'm sure if you pasted can you make a sword out of obsidian into the search box it'd pop right up. Yeah it has 21 million views. The title is, "Can You Melt Obsidian and Cast a Sword?"

  6. When I work with iron I become convinced that iron is just very well compacted dirt. I get so black and dirty working with the stuff. How a silver metal changes into black dust I'll never understand.
