Make Hobos Great Again!

They just caught them on a bad day. The groundskeeper hasn't shown up yet.
2
@eksbocks9438 they're always thin on details.
2
Yeah man it's dry out here. What'd you bring me?
2
Yeah outsourcing was a bad decision. It made the rich richer though.
2
@razorramoneljefe5956 he's not the only one.
2
Local Governments could manage the programs? Congratulations you've won stupidest comment on the Internet for today!
1
Yes I'm sure someone needs a tumbleweed wrangler or something. Or perhaps they can become social outreach workers? You'd be OK funding that through higher taxes, wouldn't you?
1
How much concrete have you poured? I've poured thousands of cubic yards of it and believe me it is hard work. Concrete is not cheap either. Concrete costs between $104 to $144 per cubic yard. Steel is even more expensive. Concrete is also very bad for the environment. You have to bake lime to make cement. So that is a major contributor to greenhouse gasses.
1
@ryancappo when structures collapse we don't have economy rescue crews. The same expensive rescue people have to be used.
1
@ryancappo our codes and methods are the cumulative result of experience. Progress is a painstaking process that is best done incrementally. What we do now has the advantage of a proven track record. It works.
1
@ryancappo I've seen tornadoes level steel reinforced masonry structures. If it's above ground a tornado can knock it down. Tornadoes have been known to rip up train tracks. Insurance rates go up because people love money. Water is wet. There's some things you just can't do anything about in this world. There's been floods in deserts too.
1
You know ocean water is salty, right? You can't salt land and expect things to grow. That's why nothing lives on beaches.
1
@TheIcyhydra eat ze bugs!
1
@TheIcyhydra if the cows ate kelp the cows would taste fishy
1
You can't grow vegetables in a forest. There's no sunlight.
1
The only friends you can count on are dead presidents.
1
Yeah if this documentary was any good they'd have followed that social worker home.
1
They're already living their best lives. It just doesn't get any better.
1
Why's that? They have the right to keep and bear arms just like every other American citizen does.
1
@daffyduk77 an armed society is a polite society. You filthy Frog.
1
@daffyduk77 a nationality is not a race. You dingly mofo. In Philly people are worth killing.
1
@daffyduk77 quit nodding.
1
I like the casual look though.
1
@sammy2tone23 there is no accounting for taste.
1
There's plenty of well paying jobs for qualified applicants. I don't think many of those transients have doctorate degrees.
1
Working doing what?
1
So what you're saying is that someone cannot be homeless where they want? They can only be homeless where you want.
1
Pimping is a growth industry.
1
Someone has to profit from it all. It ain't gonna be them bums either.
1
They're trying to help themselves. That cop doesn't look like he's missed any meals to me.
1
Exposure to bright sunlight causes macular degeneration.
1
@worldbeatxxx I knew a woman that went blind from not wearing sunglasses. If a cop asked me to take my sunglasses off I'd tell them no. Simple as that. I have the presence of mind to protect myself. I have sensitive eyes! I really don't care what it is seen as. You dumb asses can all go take a flying leap for all I care. That's my power move.
1
@worldbeatxxx no my eyes are very pale blue almost gray. I am practically an albino. So one thing has nothing to do with the other.
1
@itsyezterday6350 I know the Chinese have a cultural support network. They go to a clearing house that sets them up with work. They get shipped all over the country. It is very sophisticated and organized. If you're born here there's nothing I'm aware of that's quite like it. But that's how all of those Chinese people working in Chinese restaurants are where they're at. You can go out in the middle of nowhere and find a Chinese restaurant with real Chinese people working in it. You never thought of how that's possible?
1
Joe's working on getting more of that into the country. So the supply chain issue should improve.
1
Free crack pipes and fix kits is the solution, obviously. That's what Brandon thought.
1
Send you to pick cotton.
1
Everyone is stealing from someone somehow. But when victims agree with it and go along and pay the bill then it's not a crime.
1
@user-it6cj9yo6w the lack of money is the root of all evil.
1
It's a ghetto dozer!
1
You can't even get a tool shed for $1K.
1
@angellosmalefakis1321 research? It's called living in reality.
1
They ask stupid questions and get silly answers.
1
Why should they build houses? No one ever built a house for me. New home construction costs from $100 to $155 per square foot on average. So a shack would cost 100 grand. If the government is involved you can multiply that figure.
1
I see society as a problem when it demands I continue contributing. For what? You can survive without cleaning up and getting a job. Our ancestors did it for millions of years. You call this progress? Our system disproportionately benefits a very small minority of the population. One tenth of one percent controls 90% of the world's wealth. Yeah it's all working so good.
1
When the US gives we get in return. Don't kid yourself.
1
Life used to be free. Money is a fairly recent invention. Our species lived without money for far longer than with it.
1
@johncordova8304 there's no evidence we've found to support the world you believe existed. We've certainly looked for it too. All we've found so far are gruel bowls which we believe were the first form of currency. They date back to the beginning of agriculture. Which was only 13,000 years ago. Our species is at least 200,000 years old. Before we invested in working land there really wasn't anything of perceived value. One desolate waste was much like the next really. So no one ever grew very attached. Humans lived in nomadic tribes wandering in search of food and game. If you wanted goods you made them yourself. Or you picked a stick or rock up off the ground. Just what kinds of goods and services do you think were available in the Stone Age anyways?
1
@zerocool2352 The economy is just blowing up.
1
Beverly Hills looks nice.
1
Where do you get wood in a desert?
1
Because drugs are fun!
1
The city should provide for their tax base. Which is not homeless hobos in the desert.
1
@chrisssssssssssssssssssss-j5p I do not see a need for any plan. Things have a way of working out on their own. The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.
1
The rich are rewarded for contributing to society. That's how it works. You produce and you get back.
1
One man's trash is another's treasure.
1
@MaxRider49er forward to the cliff lemming. Your destiny awaits you.
1
Maybe for some folks just being alive is enough? Busting your ass just to have a room doesn't sound like a fair trade to me.
1
@teekolinski491 we are here to suffer and die
1
But then where would our soldiers live? We spend money on defense because the world is a dangerous place. We really don't spend any more than we absolutely have to. Because if we don't then you're going to be living in a foxhole yourself. Or you'll just be killed.
1
But if you drink and do drugs then you live in a paradise.
1
Shelter and food are things most people want so it is very easy to charge for them.
1
We live in a society.
1
@reddiver7293 no and then.
1
A concentration camp? I like how you think!
1
Where does, "Government" get the money from to build these camps?
1
It can get warm out in the desert. Warmer than someone from London is familiar with. Lots of sunshine too.
1
If that was true they wouldn't still be looking.
1
The railroad has that catchy tune too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAI6wjXEV6g
1
Speed thrills.
1
It is difficult to make products for society when society decided to offshore production. Would you make your mind up already!
1
Tattoos and drugs are cheap compared to rent and groceries.
1
If you want to get a good day's work out of them then give them some crank.
1
Everyone dies. When I saw that woman drinking out of the fire hydrant I thought, they could poison that water. Usually hydrant water isn't treated. It's on a separate circuit from potable water.
1
When you live downtown you're close to a lot of amenities. Dealers, pimps, hustlers and chumps. It's a world of opportunities.
1
A skid steer is a bulldozer in the ghetto.
1
Jobs doing what? Creating jobs is more expensive than just handing out money is. We simply cannot afford to do it.
1
Those poor life decisions were all made by politicians though. The jobs were outsourced and now the problems have come home to roost.
1
It's a desert so there's no water. That's why it's a desert. There might be some water if you drilled down a half a mile. But that's about as close as it's going to get.
1
@razorramoneljefe5956 China does represent a 3/16s of the world's population. So they do deserve their fair slice of the pie, don't you think?
1
0% inflation Jack!
1
@richardhutchinson3103 things cost whatever the market will bear. If there's people willing to pay it then it does not cost too much. A person maximizing their profit potential isn't greedy either. We all need as much money as we can get. Because life's expensive. Yachts and mansions don't buy themselves.
