  7. The invitation to join NATO was never extended. The Ukraine cannot afford to join. Member countries are admitted. You don't just waltz in.

  8.  @nirajkc21  they are welcome if they can meet criteria for membership. Which may change at a later date. If we see that they're scrappy against the Russians that could score them some points in the alliance. Or we might be offering a special deal someday. Situations are fluid after all. Things do change.

  11. Why would the US need help? We spend more on our military than the next 10 nations combined do. The combined armies of the entire world couldn't defeat us.

  14. Ukraine had physical possession of the devices but did not have the launch codes. So unless they managed to hack the missiles they couldn't have launched them.

  17.  @mypeeps333  GTFO The US invented hypersonic tech. We were doing it over 20 years ago. That POS Russia got isn't even powered. It's a glider. And as I understand it the craft doesn't even really work. Sure it goes fast but they can't control it.

That was a brush war for us too. We were just messing around over there. Now when we rolled into Iraq that was a force of 700,000.
