  2.  @danisawesome4214  the Nazis just about beat the USSR. Without the USA there would have been no just about it. No USA no Great Britain either. Because who do you think was supplying GB? And the USSR for that matter. The USA could have taken Berlin months before the Soviets did. But why should we? Berlin was so deep in the Soviet zone of occupation it wasn't even funny. Why should Americans die for land the Soviets were going to occupy anyways? That's why Ike took our army south.

  3.  chris younts  no it is historical fact. Go find out about the embargos FDR put on Japan. He cut off their steel and oil supply entirely. You can't do that to an industrialized nation. How long do you think the USA would last with no gasoline? FDR might as well just started firebombing their cities. That is an act of aggression. The USA was shelling German U-Boats in the Atlantic and chasing them before war was declared too. But those same boats were under orders to not fight back. The USA under FDR did everything to provoke Axis Powers.

  4.  chris younts  FDR was turning the screws on Japan, who was an ally with Germany. Both nations were in a mutual defense pact. On top of that the USA was supplying all of Germany's enemies from DAY ONE. Declaration of war has no bearing on a defacto state of war existing between nations. The USA was already harassing and firing upon German naval vessels long before any declaration of war was made. So don't give me any of this Germany declared war on the USA BS. As the state had already been long in existence by then. Germany just had the honor to make it official.

  8. Tell us more about the B-52 flying years before Sputnik did and Khrushchev deciding to focus on missiles because he knew the USSR would never catch the west when it came to bombers. Then tell us how the US from a standing start completely surpassed the USSR in space in under a decade too.

  9. Not from Earth you can't. You can't resolve that kind of detail due to atmospheric distortion. I don't care how powerful a telescope you have either. You will literally never see an image taken from Earth of the Moon landing sites.

  12. The USSR invaded Poland with Germany. But an awful lot of people seem to overlook this little detail today. How come France and Great Britain didn't declare war against Russia too?
