There likely are. The odds of them coming here are extremely remote though. Time and space is vast. You could go to the beach and walk in the sand but you would not interact with every grain of sand. You'd only see the sand on the surface. There are more stars than grains of sand on a beach. You and the sand existing doesn't mean you'll connect.

@RealityBoat anything's possible but we're pretty far from that level of mastery over time and space. Who knows what we could accomplish in a million years though? If we could only focus on being rational. At the rate we're going I don't think we're going to hold things together nearly that long. But creatures with a different temperment might do better than us. Then again if you're not aggressive you might not achieve such things. Intelligence may simply not be a long term survival trait.

@JunaidAzizChannel there's no proof aliens have ever crashed.

The South Pole was reached in 1911. The Atom bomb was developed in 1945. So 34 years apart. It was an age of a lot of science and exploration. The first person we're sure made it to the summit of Everest happened closer to atomic fission. Those events are only 12 years apart.

@thomasware6565 The Industrial Revolution started over 300 years ago. The mid 17th century. This is the 21st century. The history of technology is clearly a topic you know very little about. There really were three industrial revolutions. The first one goes way back. If you saw those machines you'd think they were broken bits of old barns. But they still initiated colossal social change. You likely would have been a Luddite if you were around back then too.
