  4. How about it goes towards paying down our debt? Right now you owe $107,171 dollars towards the National debt. Wouldn't you like to see that principal come down some? I don't have that kind of money in my pocket to pay up.

  7. All of those companies employ American citizens. So they pay Americans. Those Americans then take that money and pay other Americans with it. That's value for us. Promoting DEI in Serbia doesn't do Americans any good. So that's money we're better off not wasting.

  9.  @shawnh9590  $1.5 million to advance DEI in Serbia’s workplaces. The grant to a Serbian organization called Grupa Izadji was awarded by USAID. Its stated aim is to “to advance diversity, equity and inclusion in Serbia’s workplaces and business communities. I think if I asked a number of Americans if they thought that was a proper use of US funds most would say no. Then that raises that transaction to the level of fraud. Because the people responsible had to have known what they were doing was illegal. They can't be that delusional.

  10.  @dopeanimemind7049  I always hear instead of spending the money on that spend it on this instead. When the real problem is that the money is being spent at all. It doesn't matter so much what it's being spent on. The real problem is that we're spending money we really don't have. If we could afford it then sure spend it on whatever. But we simply can't afford it period. The madness has to stop.

  12.  @plowkingf15  that's a problem that's easily solved. You fail to make it to work and you're fired. That's the way it always worked at every job I've ever had. If you're late you get docked and if you don't make it in at all you're gone.

  15. What USAID really does is topple foreign governments. They put their finger on the scale and make things tip over. But in the course of doing that a lot of the money gets kicked back to certain individuals in the loop.

  16.  @tigerdank5666  we know some of what they did. Hopefully more details will emerge too. But it may be held for leverage. Cats in bags are political collateral. Trump owns them all now. I wonder how P Diddy is doing today? We don't hear much about him.
