  1.  @ajvanmarle  humans had been working with bronze for over 2,000 years by the time that artifact was produced. So it is not terribly surprising that they'd developed some technique by then.

  3.  @ajvanmarle  sounds like an isolated incident to me. Though bronze was well understood in the late Bronze Age. Kinda why that era got its name. Bronze metallurgy was the high tech of the time. That ram head was their ICBM. So not surprising they took care in crafting it.
