  1. Most do not find themselves in circumstances where full auto is a benefit. But when you do it certainly has its uses.

  2. A weapon like that has full auto on it just for the suppresive effect. You can't expect to hit anything you're aiming at in that mode. You can reasonably expect people on the receiving end to take cover though. Because they're probably not too bright.
