Remember, NOTHING important is transacted on the Internet or over the phone. If it's important it will also be physically tangible. It'll be handed to you by a sheriff at your front door. That you should take seriously. Everything else is a scam.

@Dargonhuman computer viruses do propagate by sheer weight of numbers. There is a patient zero and a vector just like in the organic world.

@Dargonhuman it can. There are viruses that spread through physical media. Even networks can have a local component to them. Many are prone to communicating with people they are in close proximity to.

@Dargonhuman you do not need to. They were still hit with the most physically destructive virus at a facility with no external network connectivity. The virus was called stuxnet.

@Dargonhuman digital viruses still have physical vectors where geographic location matters. If you had a heat map of infections you'd see that geography matters.
