  5. What's funnier is there's really just two simple machines which are broken out into 6 examples. But each example only uses either the inclined plane or the lever for operation. That's it. A wheel or pulley is really just a lever in the round. A screw is an inclined plane with a twist. We split the atom and been to the Moon, But we've only really come up with two basic gadgets. Kind of humbling to think of. That, and we can set stuff on fire. That's about our whole bag of tricks in a nutshell.

  10. I bought a Leatherman when they were cheap. At least a lot cheaper than they are now. I still have it too. It's an original from when they first came out.
