  1. Criminals don't follow laws. The majority of the firearms turned in are classic or historical and were passed down to the current owner.. not the ones used in crimes.. no one is robbing a 7-11 with a 4' long 1909 bolt action mauser ... Very rarely does a mac10 or similar style weapon get turned in. This whole thing is a waste of tax payers money that is a giant virtue signal to people who hate guns.
