The US looked the other way, and continues to, regarding the Zionists colonial entity development of nuclear weapons. Currently the State of Israel is in violation of Geneva Conventions International laws and UN Resolutions, all of which equally allow for the resistance groups to attack the Zionists colonial entity.
The American people have little idea how brutally oppresive the israelis are to the Palestinian's both in the West Bank and Gaza and also inside israel itself. There are 50+ laws applicable only to non-jews Inside the State of Israel. Yet they have 3.8 billion dollars annually sent of their taxes.
Yasser Arafat suggested years ago a one State solution with right of return. That was rejected by the Zionists. They want a Jewish only State from the river to the sea. The US is inhabited, mainly, by ignorant sheeple who spend their lives working at jobs they dislike to be able to buy cultural status symbols to be viewed as successful by people they hardly know. It's what Thorstein Veblen wrote about in his seminal work, The Theory of the Leisure Class.
Only a few rise above the petty pursuit of trinkets to try, and often fail, but at least try, to change the world, or some part of it, for the better. And those who try, fail or not, can at least know their lives had meaning beyond being mere "American consumers".

HISTORY wouldn't necessarily back you on the americans backing allies. First, you know officially Israel is not an ally because they haven't signed the NPT so the US is barred from treaties etc etc.
When three so called allies, Israel France and the UK invaded Egypt at Suez in 1956 all it took was one phone call from the Soviets to Eisenhower threating to bring out nuclear weapons and Ike was on the phone threating to destroy the French and UK economies if everyone didn't stand down troops and go home pronto.
At Dien Bien Phu before the French were overwhelmed and defeated they requested help, tactical nuclear weapons, Washington said, sorry no can do! And America had been helping finance the French in their foolish attempt to reassert coloniaists in Indochina.
During the Iraq war Americans promised the Iraqi Kurds they'd cover their asses if they fought against Saddam but let Saddam Hussein gas hundreds of Kurds without lifting a finger.
And too, America hasn't successfully won a major conflict since the War in the Pacific against the Japanese. The Soviet's lost 26 million people in WWII the US about 400,000 Americans. I'm not suggesting Putin would jump on a nuclear threat bandwagon but I do know that Transnational Corporations who finance congressmen and White House campaigns and inturn use the military and CIA NSA FBI to leverage access to resources and markets for the benefit of stockholders equity and dividends and capital gains are dictating foreign and domestic policy for Uncle Sam who's dictating foreign policy for NATO coalition and EU members to some extent and stockholders will never allow for a nuclear war if it means losing equity, which would certainly be a byproduct of the United States being vaporized in a nuclear war.
America resupplied the Zionists in the 1972 Yom Kippur war when they were running low on ammunition rockets etc and the Syrians and Egyptians had tanks rolling into core israeli territory and the Zionists thought they might lose. BUT the US refused to directly enter the conflict. So, don't assume what you're assuming about America.
Further, if Iran and Hizbullah decided to unleash all the missles in Lebanon the destruction would happen before the US could assemble a preemptive force. You recall it took months to go to the Gulf War and the Iraq invasion. Uncle Sam moves slowly. American could send in tomahawk cruise missiles but they risk having their sea based platforms sunk. You know the saying, there are only two types of ships, submarines and TARGETS 🛳🚀💥⚰.
So,if the Zionists colonial entity Israel keeps pushing they may find Tel Aviv razed to the ground, like Dresden.

I'll take a little of your time, Gerald, as you made an effort to express your opinion. After the second world war there was a Conventions held in Geneva.
There after called the Geneva Conventions.
At the convention to the world body of Representatives analyzed the various actions taken by all parties to the world War.
Decisions effecting International laws and UN regulations were decided. Among the actions examined, that relate now to the Palestinian's are the following:
It was ruled acceptable for the French resistance groups to have assissinated the Nazis occuping their lands and to it use explosive devices to bomb the Germans as well. It was also decided that it was acceptable for the Japanese Kamakazi pilots to have run their aircraft into allied ships.
These acts are legally accepted by the Geneva Conventions International laws and UN Resolutions.
The Palestinian's are ILLEGALLY OCCUPIED by ISRAEL. That is also determined by the same governing bodies the Geneva Conventions International laws and UN Resolutions.
Therefore, the killing by whatever means, bombs, suicide bombers, IED's etc., are legal for the Palestinian's to use. It can also be argued that as the Zionists colonial entity, Israel, has mandatory Military service for all non-exempt citizens, virtually every Israeli is a potential, current or past, soldier.

Well, Jami, I've met a few Kurds ( Iranian and Turkish) and they do have loyalty to each other. Tribalism, it's fundamental to the human condition. Instinctual.
I always use this example. America is perceived as the melting pot. But really it's more like visiting a salad bar. Any individual can make their own salad with all the ingredients mixed to their pleasure.
BUT the bar is segregated to begin with. Lettuce tomatoes carrots black olives celery etc.
And in analogy you have Chinatown Japantown Little Italy Little Sigon German Town Polish Village Korea Town Little Havana etc.
And so people form tribes and clans and that's where a lot of loyalty lies, family, tribe, village, city, State, country. For most people that's probably the order of priorities. When you're struggling for a country of your own you end up in beds with strangers! I'm not excusing mistakes in judgment on the part of some Kurds in being on the wrong side of history. BUT that saying, " any port in a storm " carries a certain truth.

I'm familiar with Corporate America I worked in it for 18 years. What I'm suggesting is if you look at Detroit c.1975 and you look at it again c. 2010 the two images are 180° apart.
At the moment, America is fast becoming Detroit c. 2010.
Transnationals aren't patriotic. Manufacturing and service industrie's have left are leaving.
The proverbial rats on the sinking ship..And you're counting population numbers of Russians v. Europeans and Americans as though that tells the end of a story. The Russians lost 26,000,000 people in World war two. They won the war in Europe they marched into Berlin ahead of the Americans. It's not quantity ( as Capitalistic WesternCentric culture advertises) it's quality, determination, and toughness, that wins battles, physical, mental, emotional.
Uncle Sam is old and fat and at the moment, with Trump moronic meglomaniacal goofball President who's managed to assemble the worst cabinet in United States HISTORY, Uncle is also suffering from dementia.

The military occuping Gaza and the West Bank are in violation of Geneva Conventions International laws and UN Resolutions.
It was also decided and determined that occupied people can resist using the laws of war as a doctrine for actions.
This legitimizes the use of bombings assassinations suicide bombers ( in line with Japanese Kamakazi pilots) etc.
So when I post RESISTANCE TO COLONIAL OCCUPATION IS NEVER TERRORISM, it's not just a maxim, it's a fundamental legal right.
Secondly, while it's true that the Europeans colonizers of the Americas Africa Far Middle Near East Australia etc., stole lands and wealth and enslaved many tribes of people and it's an incredibly brutal history that too many want to forget, it's also events taking place between 1400-1900 predominantly.
That being prior to the above-mentioned findings of world governing bodies post WWII.
What is taking place now is ILLEGAL.
Third, while the Muslims of Arabia did sweep through the Levant and Maghreb, and into Europe as far as Poiters,in France, ALL of that had already been invaded and subjugated by Rome centuries before Muhammad received his first revelations in 609 CE.

From 1400-1900 the European coloniaist from primarily, Spain Belgium Netherlands UK France Portugal Germany invaded all of the Americas Africa Australia the Caribbean and literally slaughtered millions of indigenous people, stole their lands, mineral wealth,oil,gas, and kidnapped millions into chattel slavery, ( different than slaves taken traditionally in wars or indentured servitude entered into voluntarily).
While many point to the Muslim Arabs that swept from Arabia c.632-711 CE through the Middle and Near East they were, in a sense, merely conquering lands already invaded by the Roman Empire centuries before.
Almost all the borders created in the Middle and Near East Africa etc., are creations by European Invaders not the indigenous people.
Much of the conflicts over the years are based on indigenous peoples trying to reclaim their traditional lands.

I wasn't suggesting that Norway didn't have a capitalist economy.
Unlike many who interchange the terms communism and socialism my, and this isn't an academic definition, concept of socialism is a society where the
Delivery by the state of fundamental needs, water, heat, electricity, health care, aren't privatized . Perhaps Norway isn't a good example of this. The US is a capitalist privatized NATION but also hypocritically so.
You'll recall the 2008 financial crisis whereby the government, committed tax payers funding to save for profit businesses.
That's called privatized profits, socialized losses.
And too, health care is run for profit through insurance companies and the delivery of energy is private. Water is still State delivered but Corporations are trying to buy that too.
Frankly I think smaller government rather than large centralized government works better . People are instinctually tribal. You see it in the fact cities have Chinatown Japantown Little Italy Little Sigon German Town Polish Village Korea Town etc. I'm not talking segregation I'm just commenting on how I feel communities work best.
There is a massive homeless problem in AMERICA and that in spite of the wealth. Though with a 21 TRILLION DOLLARS domestic deficit I'm NOT sure that's actually wealth or just maxing out the government credit card. I'm not a fan of the capitalist economic model as by design it ends up pooling more and more wealth into fewer and fewer hands.
Today, the 8 wealthiest men have the equivalent wealth of the bottom 3.2 billion people.
For me, that's immoral, that inequity.
Anyway, perhaps I should have stuck with Scandinavian Nations who are mildly socialists. I do know that stealing elections doesn't win you fans. And that's really the subject we started out with.

Ponder 🤔 the fact that for 99.9% of human history nobody owned land.
You've read about huge swaths of land, or Manhattan island, being sold for beads mirrors and ax heads.
That's because the natives couldn't conceived of stealing the right to walk on the land from the rest of humanity.
Up until the first man claimed ownership and exclusive rights to the first piece of land, effectively stealing it from everyone else, the globe 🌍 was open and free to roam.
You may not care about Governments tracking your travels, ( if you travel?) but I never voted for passports.
In fact nobody still living voted for land ownership, borders, passports etc.
All that was established by men long dead and gone.
As were 99% of laws.
Perhaps you are happy living with dead mens created encumbrances on your life?

Let me try to address your observations, not necessarily in order of your raising them.
Last count on deaths of the Mercs I heard, from their compatriots in Russia was 212. That may have changed it's from approximately 9 days ago.

Iraq was a failure on all fronts because in the end the Ayatollahs in Iran have a major geostrategical geopolitical position within the Shia Government of Iraq. This was their first step in completing what is referred to by the members of what I call the American Zionist Saudi Egyptian UAE UK French Septet, the Shia crescent.
Step two was entertaining the Syrian conflict with Russia. The combined forces of SAA Russia Hizbullah IRGC Chinese Tigers etc are winning and they are not going to stop while, Daesh al Nusra Al Qida et al, militants are alive and fighting.
The Iranians and Russians are building bases and factories ( missle 🚀) in and around the borders of the Zionists colonial entity. This makes the Zionists apoplectic!

So, all forces causing the Septet members grief are my bedmates. I might have mornings regretting who I've slept with down the line but expediency does make strange bedfellows.
As far as Russia and China that's similar to my bedmate scenario. Sanctions tariffs put the likelihood of renewed Sino- Soviet ( now Russia as CCCP gone) into a new geostrategic landscape. You know the Russians are supporting the China attempt to decouple the US Dollar from International oil trading. Xi wants a Petro-Yuan to replace the Petro-Dollar.
Attempts my Saddam and Qadaffi to try this ended badly for them. BUT, Iraq and Lybia weren't China and Russia on geostrategical geopolitical power levels. Assad is supportive enough of the Palestinian's as is Erdogan to satisfy me. And the Iranians and there creation, Hizbullah, are certainly on board against the Zionists colonial entity.
Russia Iranian relationship and Russia Turkish seem to be solidifying. I'm hoping that Erdogan has the 🎱🎱 to confront the americans in North Eastern Syria. IF, he does it puts the US in the precarious position of conflict with NATO alliance member. How does the rest of NATO react to this? Both illegally in Syria. BUT Erdogan has a border concern and the US has nothing as a acceptable, to the world community, reason to still be there and no UN mandate. IF Assad could move the US out that kills three 🐦🐦🐦 with one missle, so to speak.
US is gone. Less support for YPG YPJ PKK groups from the Americans. Assad quasi owes Erdogan for the benefits of the removal.

The Septet and some, not all EU and NATO coalition, except for Turkey, with the Zionists and Russia and China ( who already have their Chinese Tigers special forces in Syria, fighting Uyghur's, who joined Daesh) Russia Iran Hizbullah aligned together against all the rest. Bearing in mind, at that point Erdogan probably drops from NATO meaning his Incurlik air base can't be used by NATO alliance but can be it used by Iran Russia etc. Frankly, I think NATO and EU members would sit on the sidelines. British would jump in as the ever faithful americans 🐩
So, yes I'm interested in the Russians Chinese Iranians Syrians Hizbullah successfully stabilizing Syria and putting maxim pressure on the Zionists colonial entity once ensconced in Assads domain.

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make?
Clearly it's hyperbole to suggest that the US spends more than all other nations combined.
It doesn't.
The fact is there is a perception, constantly reiterated by the US government, corporate Media and the movie industry that America has an undefeatable military machine.
However, if you subscribe to what the military tactician, Karl von Clausewitz wrote in his seminal work, On War, where he observed that "war is merely a continuation of politics by other means" you measure winning by the results at the end of a war or conflict by how the US position has, or has not, improved in it's geostrategical geopolitical religiopoliticall ( one or more of these) at the end.
Since the Pacific theater in WWII America has been in many conflict or wars. At the end of combat hostilities the US hasn't in fact ended up with a better position than when it started.
Engagements in Grenada and Panama accomplished their missions but those were more police actions with no global impact.
Korean war isn't officially over as a armistice was agreed to but North Korea is still a separate country and there are 30,000 US troops on the border for decades.
Vietnam is a communist Nation.
Saddam was defeated but that allowed the majority Shia's to come to power and Iraq is now more allied with Iran.
After 18 years Afghanistan still has 70% of it's territory controlled by the Taliban.
By attempting to overthrow Assad the US caused Russia Hizbullah Iran to enter the conflict and they won. Now Russia Hizbullah Iran are ensconced in Syria and they aren't going away anytime soon.
All of these results are losses from a geostrategical geopolitical religiopoliticall standpoint for the United States attempting to advance its Hegemony.
A war with Iran, which is a far larger country than Iraq or Syria or Afghanistan, from a population and military standpoint would not end well for the US.
Iran has the largest missle inventory in the Middle East.
Having the Navy patrolling the Gulf and Indian ocean merely feeds into the adage " there are two types of ships submarines and targets".
If the United States had actually been on the verge of an attack on Iran it would have leaked to the media. Look at the history of attacks in the past. You can't keep a lid on that.
The operation, which wasn't an attack, to get Usama bin Laden was kept under wraps. But that's not an attack merely a clandestine mission.
And even that had spin to it because in fact the Pakistan military allowed it to happen once the US confronted them with having harboured bin Laden for years and threatened to cut aid funding and impose sanctions.

Perhaps you should think of this differently, or look at another perspective. The United States just fired dozens of tomahawk cruise missiles into Syria a week or so ago. You're concerned with about four hundred people trying to escape conflicts in their countries and worried about tax payers monies. Yet are you concerned about your Government shooting off hundreds of millions of dollars at a sovereign Nation to accomplish nothing at all? Because nothing was accomplished and the attack was predicted on a fake chemical attack by White Helmets created by UK Merc company funded by UK Government staged which is obvious as the alleged victims are washed off with water BUT you can't decontaminate clothed people so the entire episode was staged. The alleged victims have come forward to testify to it being staged.
You have every right to your opinions and to prioritize what's important to you.
For me, I'm for a borderless world. I don't like the idea of the Government giving me permission to walk on the planet I'm living on. Tracking where I am as I cross borders. If you like, or don't mind Uncle Sam wanting to know your every move, that's fine for you. Everyone doesn't feel that way however. Four hundred more people amongst 330,000,000 seem like a miniscule amount. Everyone seems to want to peg these people as trouble makers but it seems to me like they came here to avoid trouble elsewhere.

Well I know that Catholic and Protestant adhearents have been dropping off but it seems that's not the case, at least currently, with Islam.
Part of this may stem from people feeling they want more structured lives. Islam with it's five daily salats ( prayers) and dietary requirements etc may seem appealing ?
The fact of the matter is that whether it's religion,ghosts, reincarnation, astral projection, fairies, Big Foot, or so many other supernatural ideas 95% of people have some belief system.
They view the world through faith tinted glasses 👓
I've studied a lot of texts because it helps to understand the subjective view People have of the world .
I've read four Qur'an translations Hadith's Tafsir Shari'a fatwas Vedas Upanishads Mahabharata Tao te Ching Anamists Shintoism Buddah Confucius pantheists Annelects Old New Testaments Torah Talmud Book of Mormon etc etc etc etc etc.
I think the common link to all of them is they promise some type of life or consciousness after death in this world.
People have trouble coping with the idea of death being the end, period!
That's what's appealing with the supernatural and magical thinking of all kinds.
Me, I'm fine with just being worm food eventually.
