Nordic and Scandinavian Nations seem to be doing well with it. And certainly Western and Eastern Europe have mixed economies , socialized markets, I'd guess you'd could call them. Hondurans however are upset by rigged voting, RIGHT? That's the reason for the protests.

Perhaps it's perspective, when I see a Nation with socialized medicine and citizens who are not preoccupied with complaining about taxes because most social services are provided to everyone, I call that a Socialist country. I believe they also try to equalize penalties, if you are wealthy you pay larger fines so that the rich can't be scofflaws, they are penalized equally related to wealth.

Unlike many who interchange the terms communism and socialism my, and this isn't an academic definition, concept of socialism is a society where the Delivery by the state of fundamental needs, water, heat, electricity, health care, aren't privatized . Perhaps Norway isn't a good example of this. The US is a capitalist privatized NATION but also hypocritically so. You'll recall the 2008 financial crisis whereby the government, committed tax payers funding to save for profit businesses. That's called privatized profits, socialized losses. And too, health care is run for profit through insurance companies and the delivery of energy is private. Water is still State delivered but Corporations are trying to buy that too. Frankly I think smaller government rather than large centralized government works better . People are instinctually tribal. You see it in the fact cities have Chinatown Japantown Little Italy Little Sigon German Town Polish Village Korea Town etc. I'm not talking segregation I'm just commenting on how I feel communities work best. There is a massive homeless problem in AMERICA and that in spite of the wealth. Though with a 21 TRILLION DOLLARS domestic deficit I'm NOT sure that's actually wealth or just maxing out the government credit card. I'm not a fan of the capitalist economic model as by design it ends up pooling more and more wealth into fewer and fewer hands. Today, the 8 wealthiest men have the equivalent wealth of the bottom 3.2 billion people. For me, that's immoral, that inequity. Anyway, perhaps I should have stuck with Scandinavian Nations who are mildly socialists. I do know that stealing elections doesn't win you fans. And that's really the subject we started out with.
