Most belief system seem to me to be a trade off between positive and negative perspectives on the world and how one following the rites and strictures of any given faith is tested daily in following the laws of the faith and following man made laws and cultural protocols. Your very negative opinion of Islam and Muslims is I'm guessing based less on personal interaction than on sensationalist media, movies and TV renditions depicting Muslim in a negative light. Perhaps you should try interaction with Muslims at mosque community centers and see that people are still just average citizens regardless of what faith glasses 👓 they're looking at the world through.
